Yall, get outside and enjoy this weather! Why do we live in Austin, why do we train, if not to go outside and do fun things!
And you better act now, because you know it won’t last long. Soon we’ll be very warm. ☀️
See the list below for my favorite Austin outdoor places, parks, trails, waterfalls and things to do.

Memorial Day
First, I want to note that I’m posting this a day before Memorial Day. We live in the greatest nation, and we are so blessed. We can worship, run around outside, go to festivals. This is largely because people are willing to stand up for America and pay the ultimate cost.
Huge respect to those who gave their lives, and love to the Gold Star Families.
Things to do Outside in Austin
Yes, very creatively titled. But, check out my favorite things to do outside in Austin. Check out food trucks, Lady Bird Lake, stand up paddle boarding, and more.
Austin Hiking Trails with Water
Possibly my favorite list of all of these, is Austin hiking trails with water. Especially right now, we’ll have some pretty waterfalls! This post includes trailheads, parking info, etc.
Cheap, Fun Things to do in Austin
Visit famous murals, watch the bats, or check out famous South Congress. This is a list of Austin things you should do on a budget or not.
Tubing Near Austin
Tubing is my favorite central Texas activity, hands down. It’s a bit cold in late May/early June, but it’ll still be fun! Check out the best Central Texas rivers and tubing outfitters here.
Best Parks in Austin
The best parks in Austin for outdoor recreation are here! Auditorium Shores, Barton Creek, Zilker, Pease Park, we got ’em all here!
What Are Your Favorites?
Did I miss any? Tell me! I’d love to know. It makes me so happy when people are healthy, happy, and get outside to have fun!
